Hilltop Counselling

Andy runs Hilltop Counselling. Andy is a counsellor, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Medicare Australia Registered Provider.

Andy has worked in counselling and therapeutic roles for over a decade, in a variety of fields including private practice, community health, bushfire recovery, child and family services, family violence and bush adventure therapy.

Andy has a particular clinical interest in the areas of working with people experiencing the effects of trauma, working with men around identity, health and fathering, and the intersection between social justice and therapy.

Further to his own therapeutic practice, Andy has significant experience in providing clinical supervision to a wide range of counselling and human service professionals, as well as having lectured and taught in mental health and therapeutic practice in a variety of tertiary and private contexts.
